They’re Off
Every year sees the Duck Derby at the Aldermaston and Wasing Show where over 1,000 ducks take part in races that run throughtout the whole afternoon while the Show is open.

Wine Raffle
Walk around the gardens and you will find many competition side-stalls.รย Some are simply down to the luck-of-the-draw, like the tombola or wine raffle.รย Some require skill like the coconut shy,รย bowls or archery.

Vegetables on Show
In the dark days of wartime 1943, some villagers decided to hold a competition to encourage everyone to “dig for victory” and produce as much food as they could. Thus our show was born and was held behind The Hind’s Head.

Kennet Valley Woodturners
The Kennet Valley Woodturners have been the main attraction in the craft tent in previous years with regular practical exhibitions of woodturning.

Strong Man Exhibition
Craig Mullineux and his team of strong men gave us an exhibition in the main arena and later helped with the organisation of the Tug-o-war competition.
