This 75th year of our Show was clearly a special milestone which called for special events to celebrate- and in fact we probably offered more events and entertainments than ever before. The weather too rose to the occasion and the result was a most enjoyable day for all.

A much-admired Ferret!

Long-established favourites such as Childrenรขโ‚ฌโ„ขs entertainments and races, our Egg-Throwing Competition, Ferrets and our hilarious Dog Agility events were joined by a fabulous Treasure Hunt, Donkey Sanctuary, Circus Skills and Falconry- all to the background of the much-loved Tadley Concert Brass. Also, more classic cars than ever roared onto the Show field.ร‚ย  Great prizes in our Raffle and Tombola rewarded lucky punters. The whole affair was again brilliantly compered by Chris Boott.

Competition entries were most impressive and all 26 trophies were awarded. A warm welcome back to Mr Ernest Nobes who was unable to take part last year. Ernie was back in form, winning four awards. A record number of Best-Dressed Ducks also graced the Show marquee (see below).

The day was once again a magical experience for all concerned. The work involved in preparing everything is also very rewarding but the Show must have new recruits to ensure its future. Anyone interested should contact can contact us on secretary@awshow.org.uk.
